The 6-foot-3, 150-pound senior distance talent captured a national championship in the mile to earn All-American honors at the Nike Outdoor Nationals this past season. Norder also won the mile at the national Brooks PR Invitational, clocking a personal-best time of 4:01.94, which ranked as the nation’s No. 7 performance among prep boys this spring. His winning time of 4:03.01 in the 1600 at the Division 1 state meet was the nation’s No. 5 clocking in 2024. He also took third in the mile a states, helping the Buccaneers to sixth place as a team.
Norder has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete on scholarship at Michigan State University this fall.
Norder has volunteered locally mentoring and coaching across various youth sports and he’s served as a counselor at a running camp. He has also donated his time as a club youth soccer referee and a YMCA youth basketball league.
