The 5-foot-9 senior setter and opposite hitter led the Cougars to a 36-3 record and a fourth straight Division II state championship this past season. Miciotto amassed 491 assists and 318 digs, including a 16-assist, 12-dig effort in St. Thomas More’s 3-0 win over Ben Franklin High in the state final, where she earned match MVP honors for a second straight year. She also compiled 265 kills, 74 service aces and 37 blocks while posting a kill percentage of .419 and a hitting percentage of .325 at net. The District II-4 Player of the Year and a two-time First Team All-State selection, she concluded her prep volleyball career with 2,119 assists.
Miciotto has maintained a 3.95 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play volleyball at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette this fall.
A four-year campus minister at St. Thomas More, Miciotto has volunteered locally as a student ambassador and as a mentor and companion to special needs students through her school’s Options Program. She has also donated her time at the Children’s Museum of Acadiana and as a youth volleyball coach.
