The 5-foot-7, 130-pound junior middle distance and distance talent swept the 800-, 1500- and 3000-meter events at the HHSAA state meet this past season, leading the Na Menehune to the team title. Millare’s winning time of 3:53.16 in the 1500 broke the meet record and ranked No. 13 nationally among boys prep competitors this spring. He also broke the tape in the Open division mile race at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational in California, clocking 4:11.09. In addition, he clocked PRs in both the 800 (1:53.38) and 3000 (8:58.38) during his junior campaign, and he also crossed the line in fourth with a time of 1.53.58 in the Nike Outdoor Nationals’ Emerging Elite 800 final. The 2024-25 Hawaii Boys Cross Country Gatorade Player of the Year award, he picked up Oahu Interscholastic Association championships in the 800 and 1500 this spring as well.
Millare has maintained a 3.41 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
Millare has volunteered locally with his church community and has also participated in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps.
