A two-time returning Gatorade State Player of the Year, the 6-foot-1 senior outside hitter led the Bulldawgs to a 27-0 record and a third straight Class 5A state championship this past season. Massey recorded 571 kills and 221 digs, including a 36-kill, 12-dig effort in the Las Cruces’ 3-1 win over La Cueva High in the state final. She also compiled 51 service aces, 38 assists and 21 blocks while posting a .639 kill percentage and a .519 hitting percentage to earn American Volleyball Coaches Association Second Team All-American honors.
Massey, who is home-schooled, has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play volleyball at Kansas State University this fall.
Massey has volunteered locally cooking food for Aggies for Christ, a campus ministry at New Mexico State University, and she has donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church.
