The 5-foot-10 junior setter led the Cadets to a 21-11 record and the DCIAA tournament championship this past season. Frye tallied 358 assists, 168 kills, 149 digs, 83 service aces and 47 blocks while posting a .407 kill percentage. A 2016 Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Second Team selection, she is a two-time DCIAA First Team All-State honoree.
Frye has maintained a 3.64 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
Frye has volunteered locally raising awareness of Fragile X syndrome, a genetic condition that causes a range of development problems, and as a youth volleyball coach. "Rebecca is a very intelligent player," said Brandon Wiest, head coach of Georgetown Day School. "She gets all of her teammates involved, and when hitting she was also a very dangerous weapon."
