The 5-foot-11 senior thrower set a pair of state records as she swept the shot put and discus competitions at the USATF Under-20 Championships earlier this month. Massey’s winning toss in the discus of 197 feet, 9 inches ranked No. 1 among prep girls competitors this spring and No. 2 in prep history. Her shot effort of 55-4.75 ranked No. 2 nationally in 2026 and No. 5 in prep history. Massey also won gold in the shot put at the Nike Outdoor Nationals, earning All-American honors, and she took home a pair of wins at the Open State meet in the shot and discus.
Massey has maintained a weighted 4.28 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to compete on scholarship at the University of Oregon this fall.
A licensed realtor and an Aliso Niguel Junior Honor Corps member, Massey has volunteered locally at the Laguna Beach Food Pantry. She has also donated her time as a social media content creator focusing on inspiring female athletes to strive for excellence.
