The 5-foot-4 senior distance talent won two gold medals in leading her team to a second-place finish at the Division 1 state meet. Walsh crossed the line in fifth place at the Trial of Miles with a time of 4:43.89, which ranked as the nation’s No. 19 performance among prep girls this spring. Her winning time in the 3200-meter event at the state meet clocked in at 10:15.24, which ranked as the nation’s No. 27 mark in 2024. Also a double-gold winner at the DIAA Meet of Champions, she captured the 1600 title in a personal-best 4:44.29.
Walsh has maintained a weighted 3.37 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete on scholarship at Villanova University this fall.
Walsh has volunteered locally as a youth running coach and as a mentor for the Delaware Elite track club.
