The 6-foot-1, 146-pound senior raced to the Class AA individual state championship this past season with a time of 15:46.7. Martin won the Paul Short Run, the Philadelphia Catholic League Championships, the District 12 Championships and the Varsity A race at the prestigious Manhattan College Invitational. He took 11th at the national Garmin RunningLane Cross Country Championships.
Martin has maintained an A average in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to run on scholarship at the University of Virginia this fall.
Martin has volunteered locally on behalf of food-donation drives for the needy and youth sports programs.
