The 6-foot-4, 205-pound senior led the Eagles to a 23-2 record and the Division III district championship game, scheduled for May 23. At the time of his selection, Varga owned an 8-0 record with a 0.00 ERA, 110 strikeouts and just four walks in 44 innings
