The 5-foot-2 junior won the Division 1 state meet this past season, breaking the tape with an all-class best time of 19:49.3 and leading the Redhawks to the state team championship. Kredell, who took 10th in the featured Eastern States Championship race at the Manhattan Invitational, was the top Vermont runner at both the Nike Cross Northeast Regional Championships, where she finished 17th, and the New England XC Championships, where she placed 10th in a personal-best 18:13.11.
Kredell has maintained a 4.10 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
Kredell has volunteered locally on behalf of the Shelburne Food Shelf program and as part of her school’s Volunteer Outreach Club.
