The 5-foot-11 senior setter led the Hawks to a 25-6 record and a fourth straight Class 4A state title this past season. Skyview did not lose to an in-state team in 2023 as Bower amassed 862 assists for an average of 8.6 per set while compiling 197 digs, 59 service aces and 40 blocks. She also put down 123 kills on the strength of a .440 hitting percentage. Ranked as the nation’s No. 12 recruit by PrepDig and No. 25 by PrepVolleyball, Bower was the only Idahoan named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American Team and it was as a First Team selection. She was the 2023 Class 4A Player of the Year and the MaxPreps Idaho Player of the Year.
Bower has maintained a 3.34 weighted GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball on scholarship at BYU this fall.
Bower has volunteered locally on behalf of the Sunny Ridge Nursing Home and has donated her time on Tuesday nights as a youth mentor at the Nampa Rec Center, where she has also helped conduct youth camps. In addition, she’s served as a coach for the Crush Volleyball Club’s 14s squad.
