The 5-foot-6 sophomore distance talent took fourth in the elite mile race at the national HOKA Festival of Miles this past season and her state-record clocking of 4:44.34 at the event ranked No. 25 nationally among girls prep competitors this spring. Anstett also set two state records at the DCSAA Championships—in the 1600- and 3200-meter runs—and she broke a fourth state record in the 3000 at April’s Penn Relays Carnival with a time of 9:54.03, which ranked No. 61 nationally. She capped her season at New Balance Nationals Outdoor with a fifth state record in the 2-mile run as her time of 10:22.39 ranked No. 33 nationally.
Anstett has maintained a weighted 3.36 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her junior year of high school this fall.
Anstett has volunteered locally with PR Run & Walk, a family owned running and walking specialty store, and as a student ambassador at her school. She has also donated her time as a youth track coach.
