The 6-foot-4, 205-pound junior shortstop, outfielder and right-handed pitcher batted .455, scored 34 runs and compiled an OPS of 1.327 this past season, leading the Bulldogs (23-4-1) to a berth in the Class 3A state championship game. Ranked as the nation’s No. 4 prospect in the Class of 2025 by Perfect Game, Neyens also produced a .615 on-base percentage and stole 16 bases. On the mound, he compiled a 5-0 record with a 0.47 ERA and 37 strikeouts against just five walks in 29.1 innings of work, holding opposing hitters to a .163 batting average.
Neyens has maintained a 3.54 GPA in the classroom. He has verbally committed to play baseball on scholarship at Oregon State University in the fall of 2025.
A member of his school’s Link Crew, Neyens has volunteered locally on behalf of the Rotary Club of Skagit and as a youth baseball coach and scorekeeper.
