The 6-foot-1, 191-pound senior running back rushed for 2,756 yards and 42 touchdowns this past season, leading the Indians (12-2) to the Division 1 state championship game. Stang rushed for 846 yards and 13 scores in Mukwonago’s first four postseason games before breaking his collarbone on the third play of the state title game. A First Team All-State selection and also the 2022 MaxPreps.com State Player of the Year, he won the Elroy Hirsch Award as the state’s top senior running back.
Stang has maintained a 3.50 GPA in the classroom. At the time of his selection, he remained undecided upon a collegiate destination.
An all-state lacrosse player for the Indians as well, Stang has volunteered as part of multiple community service initiatives through his local chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
