Victoria Sebastian Gatorade 2017 - 2018: Player of the Year Softball

But as intimidating as she is on the mound, she’s an even better hitter. She hits to all parts of the field and there’s almost no way to get her out.”

Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-5 junior left-handed pitcher had led the Rams (24-1) to the sectional finals at the time of her selection. Sebastian owned a 21-1 record with a 0.42 ERA in the circle, along with a .613 batting average and 27 RBI through 25 games. She had struck out 203 batters in 135 innings pitched. Sebastian is a First Team All-State, All-County and All-League honoree and was named North Jersey Player of the Year as a sophomore.

Academic Achievement

Sebastian has maintained a weighted 4.53 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.

Exemplary Character

A peer tutor in her school, Sebastian has volunteered locally on behalf of a nursing home, a soup kitchen and youth softball clinics.
