Athletic Excellence


The 6-foot-2, 200-pound senior quarterback led the Chargers to a 14-1 record and a 6A state championship this past season. He completed 215 of 325 passes (66 percent) for 2,934 yards and 35 touchdowns with five interceptions. He also rushed for 979 yards and 17 touchdowns on 139 carries, averaging 7.04 yards per attempt. Egan was named MVP of the 6A state championship game after throwing for 285 yards and four touchdowns in a 28-27 win over Male. The 2022 6A leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns, Egan broke the Bullitt East record for career passing yards, set by his father Brandon in 1994.

Academic Achievement


Egan has maintained a 3.36 GPA in the classroom. At the time of his selection, he remained undecided upon a collegiate destination.

Exemplary Character


A Bullitt East student ambassador, Egan has volunteered locally as a participant in roundtable discussions about cyberbullying hosted by the American Academy of Pediatrics. He also has donated his time as a flag football coach in the Mount Washington Football & Cheer Association.
