The 6-foot-4 senior outside hitter compiled 492 kills for an average of 5.2 per set and led the Plainsmen (32-4) to 4A state semifinals this past season. The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, Dodd also recorded 317 digs, 63 service aces and 42 blocks. She was named an American Volleyball Coaches Association Second Team All-American and the 4A Player of the Year.
Dodd has maintained a 3.95 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play volleyball at the University of Kansas this fall.
Dodd has volunteered locally as a referee for youth volleyball events. She has also donated her time to the Laramie High School Volleyball Food Drive and the Ivinson Memorial Hospital Oncology golf fundraiser for cancer research.
