The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 6-foot-2 senior outside hitter led the Huskies to a 25-5 record and a third straight Conference 5A state championship this past season. Sigler amassed 619 kills and 354 digs, including 33 kills and 20 digs in Horizon’s 3-1 win over Sunrise Mountain High in the state final. She also recorded 65 service aces and 28 blocks while posting a .505 kill percentage and a .398 hitting percentage at net. Ranked as the No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2025 by PrepDig.com, Sigler was a member of the U.S. Under-21 Women’s National Team that won the gold medal at the NORCECA Championships last summer. She concluded her prep volleyball career with 1,951 kills and 1,128 digs.
Sigler has maintained a 3.13 GPA in the classroom. Taking advantage of NCAA early signing rules, Sigler inked a financial-aid agreement that paved the way for her to enroll at the University of Nebraska, where she will play volleyball. She graduated from high school in December and will attend classes in the spring semester.
A club officer and leader of Horizon’s Husky 101 group that mentors incoming freshmen, Sigler has volunteered locally as a youth volleyball coach and has donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church youth group.
