Athletic Excellence

The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 5-foot-10 senior right-handed pitcher and first baseman led the Blue Jays to a 38-1-1 record and the 4A state championship this past season. Brown compiled a 24-0 record with a 0.50 ERA and a program-record 263 strikeouts. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch Metro Player of the Year, she also batted .548 with 62 RBI and 16 home runs.

Academic Achievement

Brown has maintained a 3.67 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball on scholarship at Texas A&M University this fall.

Exemplary Character

A member of her school’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter, Brown has volunteered locally with Link Crew, a student orientation leadership council. She also has donated her time as a softball coach at Washington School youth camps in addition to offering pitching lessons to elementary and middle school girls in Franklin County.
