The 6-foot senior guard led the Jaguars to a 32-4 record and the Class 7A state championship this past season. Barker averaged 23.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 steals per game, contributing a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds in Spain Park’s 47-44 win over Hoover High in the state final. The 2018-19 Class 7A Player of the Year, Barker is a two-time First Team All-State selection. She concluded her prep basketball career with 2,222 points and 1,107 rebounds.
Barker has maintained a 3.31 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of Georgia this fall.
Barker has volunteered locally on a school leadership panel aimed at preventing bullying and discrimination.
