The 5-foot-4 freshman won the state meet this past season with a time of 18:04.22, breaking the tape 15.51 seconds ahead of her next-closest competitor and leading the Na Menehune to eighth place as a team. Krueger took sixth at the Foot Locker West Regional Championships to earn First Team All-Region honors and become the first Hawaiian girl in 20 years to qualify for the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships. She finished 36th at nationals.
Krueger has maintained a 3.86 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her sophomore year of high school this fall.
Krueger has volunteered locally by working the concession stand at Moanalua High football games and by serving as a marshal at middle school cross country meets.
