The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 5-foot-6 junior right-handed pitcher and first baseman was named the best player in the state by MaxPreps.com during the 2020 preseason. Pitching for the NorCal Firecrackers over the summer and fall against elite-level national competition, Last spring with South High, Jolin compiled a .610 batting average with 54 runs batted in, 41 runs scored, 27 extra-base hits and a 1.207 slugging percentage. She was 13-2 in the circle with a 1.43 earned run average and 62 strikeouts.
Jolin has maintained a 3.39 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
Jolin has volunteered locally as part of a food drive to benefit a women’s shelter, and she has donated her time as a youth softball coach.
