The 5-foot-6 sophomore midfielder led the Huskies to a 13-1 record and the Class 6A state championship this past season. McLanahan scored 30 goals and passed for 11 assists and recorded eight multi-goal games. She won a gold medal at the 2024 Concacaf championships as a member of the U.S. Soccer Under-17 Women’s National Team and she’s rated as the nation’s No. 5 recruit in the Class of 2026 by TopDrawerSoccer.com.
McLanahan has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her junior year of high school this fall.
In her capacity as a member of the National Honor Society, McLanahan has donated her time to a number of community service initiatives. In addition to fundraising for STUCO BALTO, she has volunteered locally on behalf of US Youth Soccer’s TopSoccer program, a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with physical or intellectual challenges. A devoted member of the Crossings Christian Church, she has also served as a youth soccer instructor.
