The 6-foot-6, 205-pound senior wing led the Hilltoppers (16-6) to the Division I state semifinals this past season. Hauser averaged 23.3 points and 9.1 rebounds per game while shooting 53.2 percent from the floor. A three-year captain and two-time ‘Dream Dozen’ underclass selection by the Vermont Basketball Coaches Association, he is also a two-time First Team All-State selection in baseball.
Hauser has maintained an A average in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play baseball at the University of Maine this fall.
A National Honor Society member, Hauser has volunteered locally with a fundraiser to benefit a local cancer center in addition to donating his time as a youth sports official. He has also served as co-president of his school’s student-athlete advisory council.
