The 5-foot-7 senior midfielder led the Wolverines to a 21-0-2 record and the Class AAAAAAA state championship this past season. Freeman scored nine goals and passed for 17 assists, netting West Forsyth’s lone regulation goal in a 2-1, shootout victory over Buford High in the state final. The Region 6-AAAAAAA Player of the Year, she’s a Class AAAAAAA First Team All-State selection.
Freeman has maintained an A-minus average in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer on scholarship at Brigham Young University this fall.
Freeman has volunteered locally as part of canned goods drives and as a youth soccer coach. She has also donated her time to multiple community service events at Crabapple Market in Milton.
