The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 6-foot-2 senior outside hitter amassed 520 kills and 131 digs this past season, leading the Pioneers (23-7) to the Class 6A state title match. Thies also recorded 69 service aces and posted a .517 kill percentage along with a .382 hitting percentage. Ranked as the nation’s No. 39 recruit in the Class of 2025 by PrepDig.com, Thies is a two-time Oregonian Player of the Year and a three-time Three Rivers League Player of the Year. She concluded her prep volleyball career with a school-record 1,823 kills.
Thies has maintained a weighted 4.11 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play volleyball at the University of Arizona this fall.
Thies has volunteered locally as a youth volleyball coach.
