At the time of her selection, the 5-foot-9 senior guard had led the Red Devils to an 18-2 record and a berth in Montana’s Class B divisional tournament. Lofing averaged 23.3 points, 4.7 steals, 4.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists through 20 games this season, shooting 56 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc. A three-time First Team All-State selection, she entered the divisional tournament as the state’s fourth-ranked career scorer with 2,327 career points.
Lofing has maintained a 3.91 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play basketball at Gonzaga this fall.
A three-year National Honor Society member, Lofing has volunteered locally with the Special Olympics and as a high school peer mentor. She also played for her school’s inaugural flag football team.
