Athletic Excellence


The 6-foot-3, 180-pound senior guard led the Pioneers to a 27-3 record and their second consecutive Class 6A state championship this past season. The state’s returning Gatorade Boys Basketball Player of the Year, Mannion averaged 30.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 2.8 steals per game. The Desert Valley Player of the Year, he was named to the All-Arizona First Team and selected to play in the McDonald’s All-American Game. Mannion is also a Third Team Naismith All-American and is ranked as the nation’s No. 8 recruit in the Class of 2019 by ESPN.

Academic Achievement


Mannion has maintained a 3.66 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of Arizona this fall.

Exemplary Character


A volunteer coach at local youth basketball clinics, Mannion has donated his time to Out of the Darkness Walks for mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
