Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-1 senior guard and forward led the Wildcats to a 28-1 record and the Class A state championship this past season. Gessert averaged 17.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.2 assists, including 18 points and eight boards in a 70-44 win over Westside High in the state final. A 2024 First Team All-State selection and a two-time First Team All-Metro honoree, Gessert is ranked as the nation’s No. 54 recruit in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports. She concluded her prep basketball career with 1,542 points.

Academic Achievement

Gessert has maintained a 3.55 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play basketball at Creighton University this fall.

A member of the Millard West High student leadership team, Gessert has volunteered locally with Play It Forward, a mentoring program that introduces young children to a variety of activities.
