The 6-foot-2 sophomore forward averaged 17.3 points and 10.4 rebounds this past season, leading the Bulldogs (23-2) to the Class 5A state title. Williams added 3.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per game and sank 54 percent of her field goal attempts. Ranked as the nation’s No. 10 recruit in her class by 247 Sports, she scored 18 points and recorded 16 rebounds in the state championship game.
Williams has maintained a 3.78 weighted GPA in the classroom. She will begin her junior year of high school this fall.
A member of her school’s student council, Williams has donated her time locally as a scorekeeper at youth basketball tournaments and as youth coach. She has also volunteered as a model for the Las Vegas Aces “Raise the Stakes” merchandising campaign. At her school, she serves as a peer tutor and works with the Best Buddies program supporting special needs students.
