At the time of her selection, the 5-foot-11 junior guard had led the Warhawks to a 25-3 record and a berth in the Division 1 state quarterfinals. Kussow averaged 26.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.8 steals, 3.0 assists and 1.0 blocks through 28 games. The 2024 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Player of the Year for Southeast Wisconsin, Kussow is ranked as the nation’s No. 16 recruit in the Class of 2026 by espnW. She entered the state quarterfinals with 1,964 points in her prep basketball career.
Kussow has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
Kussow has volunteered locally with Journey21, a community for adults with learning disabilities. She has also donated her time singing at nursing homes and as a youth basketball coach.
