The 5-foot-7 senior right-handed pitcher led the Friars to a 25-0 record and the Catholic High School Athletic Association state championship this past season. Fiordalisi compiled a 21-0 record with a 0.56 earned run average, firing a two-hit shutout to defeat St. Mary’s of Lancaster in the state final. A three-time Nassau-Suffolk CHSAA League Pitcher of the Year, she struck out 206 batters while allowing just 48 hits in 124 innings pitched.
Fiordalisi has maintained a weighted A average in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to attend Cornell University, where she will play softball, this fall.
The president of the St. Anthony’s Sports Medicine Club, Fiordalisi has a goal to become a certified personal trainer by next summer. She has volunteered locally as a Little League umpire and as a youth pitching instructor. She has also donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church.
