The 6-foot-7, 190-pound senior guard led the Mustangs to a 15-0 record this past season. Christie averaged 24.0 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 3.1 steals and 2.0 blocks per game while connecting on 53.3 percent of his shots from the floor. A McDonald’s All-American Game selection, Christie was the 2021 Player of the Year by the Chicago Sun Times and Chicagoland Prep Hoops. A unanimous First Team All-State selection, he is ranked as the nation’s No. 16 recruit in the Class of 2021 by ESPN.com and concluded his prep basketball career with 2,132 points.
Christie has maintained a weighted 4.12 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at Michigan State University this fall.
Christie has volunteered locally on multiple fundraising campaigns to benefit the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association. He has also donated his time with Feed My Starving Children and as a youth basketball coach.
