The 6-foot-1, 210-pound senior quarterback and safety led the Wildcats to an 11-2 record and the Class 5A state championship this past season. Wiepert passed for 3,803 yards and 51 touchdowns while also rushing for 700 yards and 12 scores. A First Team Special District 2 selection at quarterback, safety and punter, Wiepert compiled 81 tackles and punted for a 41.1 yard average. The 2023 Class 5A Defensive Player of the Year, he ran for five scores and passed for three more in Wilsonville’s 56-35 win over Mountain View High in the state final.
Wiepert has maintained a weighted 4.10 GPA in the classroom. At the time of his selection, he had made a verbal commitment to receive athletic aid to play baseball at Oregon State University next fall.
A member of his local chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Wiepert has volunteered locally with Young Life, and he has donated his time to multiple community service initiatives through his church.
