At the time of his selection, the 6-foot-2, 180-pound junior guard had led the Bulldogs to a 22-2 record and a berth in the Division III state semifinals. The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, Johnson averaged 29.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 steals through 24 games. A two-time First Team All-Ohio selection, he’s ranked as the nation’s No. 22 recruit in the Class of 2026 by ESPN.com.
Johnson has maintained a 3.52 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
Johnson is a member of a bible study group and has volunteered locally as a peer tutor.
