The 6-foot-3 senior middle, outside and right-side hitter led the Dons to a 46-3 record and both the San Diego Section Division 1 postseason title along with the Open Division state championship this past season. Kordas compiled 469 kills, 118 blocks and 108 digs, including an 18-kill, seven-dig, five-block effort in Cathedral Catholic’s 3-0 win over Archbishop Mitty High in the Open Division state final. A MaxPreps First Team All-American, she also recorded 32 service aces while posting a .509 kill percentage and a .397 hitting percentage on the year.
Kordas has maintained a weighted 4.29 GPA in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to attend Yale University, where she will play volleyball, beginning this fall.
A member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Kordas has volunteered locally with Feeding San Diego. She has also donated her time on behalf of the Cathedral Catholic High campus ministry and as a youth volleyball coach.
