Athletic Excellence


The 5-foot-8 senior right-handed pitcher had led the Knights (24-2) to the Class 6A semifinals at the time of her selection. Volpe had posted a 24-2 record with a 0.73 ERA through 26 games, striking out 316 batters in 162 innings pitched. A two-time First Team All-State honoree and a three-time All-League selection, she also batted .309 with 22 RBI.

Academic Achievement


Volpe has maintained a weighted 4.78 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball on scholarship at Coastal Carolina University this fall.

Exemplary Character


Volpe has volunteered locally on behalf of a food pantry and youth softball programs.
