“Provost is arguably one of the best players I have seen over my 15 years of coaching. We typically would play Lawrence in the preseason and I remember her as a freshman making a huge difference. Fast-forward to her senior year, she single-handedly took over the fourth quarter against us in the semis after we held her in check for three. She stayed steady throughout and, just like elite-level players do, she flipped a switch and she instantly took over.”

Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-9 senior guard averaged 27.1 points. 9.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists this past season, leading the Bulldogs (17-5) to a Class B state championship. A two-time state champion, Provost scored 19 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in Lawrence’s comeback win over Oceanside in the state final. Provost was named the Class B North tournament MVP and was a finalist for Maine’s Miss Basketball award. She’s ranked as New England’s No. 16 prospect in the Class of 2026 by Prep Girls Hoops.

Academic Achievement

Provost has maintained an A average in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play basketball at the College of the Holy Cross this fall.

Exemplary Character

Provost has volunteered locally with Lawrence’s Unified Basketball team, which pairs youth athletes with intellectually challenged peers in celebration of sport. She’s also donated her time as a youth basketball coach and official.
