Athletic Excellence


The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 5-foot-10, 155-pound senior forward was a 2019 United Soccer Coaches High School All-American selection. Oyama led the Vikings to the 2019 Class 4A state championship, scoring the winning goal late in the state final. Also the Washington State Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year, he concluded his prep soccer career with 25 goals and 14 assists.

Academic Achievement


Oyama has maintained a 3.99 GPA in the classroom. He has made a verbal commitment to attend Princeton University, where he will play soccer.

Exemplary Character


Oyama has volunteered locally distributing food to the homeless and as a youth soccer coach. He has also donated his time to multiple community service initiatives through his school’s Key Club.
