The 5-foot-11 senior outside hitter recorded 299 kills and 192 digs this past season, leading the Red Raiders (34-3) to the AAA state championship. Cornman compiled a .388 hitting percentage and a .502 kill percentage on the year. A First-Team All-State selection, she put down 33 kills in the title match and was named MVP of the State Tournament.
Cornman has maintained an A average in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play beach volleyball at the University of Hawaii this fall.
Cornman has volunteered locally for her indoor volleyball club during tournaments, camps and coaches clinics, and she also coaches on behalf of her beach volleyball club. In addition, she’s donated her time to the team’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraiser for the Pluta Cancer Center.
