“She is the epitome of the student athlete.Kelsey deserves the Gatorade Player of the Year because, not only is she the most talented basketball player whom I have ever coached or seen play basketball at the high school level, she is also the hardest working, most polite, most respectful, most humble, and most unselfish player whom I have ever coached. She is the epitome of the student athlete. Her teachers praise her for work ethic and positive attitude in the classroom. My basketball peers are amazed at, not only her abilities on the court, but how she carries herself on and off the court. She has broken almost every record at Princeton, including the all-time leading scorer, which she broke even after missing 15 games her junior year. She led Princeton to the State Championship this season which had not been accomplished since 1987. Please consider Kelsey as very deserving of this award.”
