The 5-foot-6 senior outside hitter and defensive specialist led the Raiders to a 16-1 record and a second-straight Class B state championship this past season. Schwinn compiled 199 kills, 107 digs and 75 service aces, including a 24-kill, 17-dig, 10-ace effort in Washington’s 3-2 win over York High in the state final. A two-time Penobscot Valley Conference Player of the Year, she also amassed 23 assists while posting a .500 kill percentage and a .394 hitting percentage.
Schwinn has maintained an A average in the classroom. She remains undecided upon a collegiate destination.
The four-year treasurer of her class at Washington Academy, Schwinn has volunteered locally as part of multiple community service initiatives through her school’s student council and National Honor Society. A member of Teens 4 Christ, she has also donated her time as a youth volleyball coach.
