Athletic Excellence


The 5-foot-2 senior second baseman and outfielder was a two-time First Team All-State selection for the Rams, leading La Salle to the 2019 Division I state championship. As a standout for the Rhode Island Thunder ASA club team, Baptista compiled a .338 batting average and a .454 on-base percentage against elite-level national competition throughout last summer and fall. A 2019 Extra Inning First Team All-American, she batted .688 with 34 steals, 29 runs scored and a 1.104 slugging percentage as a junior for the Rams.

Academic Achievement


Baptista has maintained an A average in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play softball on scholarship at the University of North Carolina.

Exemplary Character


Baptista has volunteered locally serving meals to the homeless and as a youth softball coach. She has also donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through LaSallian Youth at her school.
