The 5-foot-5 senior right-handed pitcher led the Bruins to a 23-4 record and the AA state championship this past season. Emmert compiled a 19-3 record with a 1.90 ERA and 195 strikeouts in 114 innings pitched, averaging 1.71 strikeouts per inning. The Western AA Defensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-Conference, she struck out 13 in the state championship game, a 3-2 win over Glacier in eight innings.
Emmert has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to attend Carroll College, where she will play soccer, beginning in the fall.
Emmert has volunteered locally at St. Peter’s Health, a community hospital, and at a food bank, where she collects donations and delivers food boxes. She has also donated her time to the “Paint the State” project, an initiative through the Montana Meth Project, painting murals to communicate the risks of methamphetamine use.
