“Kase is a kid that puts his team and community first. He has grade school kids following him to the gym at 6 am prior to school because they want to be just like him when they grow up. Lapwai is a community on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation and has a rich history with sports, especially basketball. If you’re good and leave a legacy, you become a Lapwai Legend. No doubt, Kase has left a legacy that’s bigger than most. What he and his team achieved in four years will be remembered forever and it’ll be very hard to top.”
