Athletic Excellence


The 5-foot-7 senior first baseman was named a First Team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and ranks as the nation’s No. 18 prospect in the Class of 2020 by Extra Inning Softball. Also the state’s returning Gatorade Softball Player of the Year, Gaskins batted .435 with 19 home runs last summer and fall with the Jersey Intensity, which placed 17th at the PGF Premier 18U Nationals. She led the Griffins (30-2) to the Tournament of Champions title in the 2019 high school season, batting .643 with 19 home runs, 61 RBI and a 2.195 OPS.

Academic Achievement


Gaskins has maintained an A average in the classroom. has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at the University of Notre Dame.

Exemplary Character


A peer tutor in her school, Gaskins has volunteered locally on behalf of Operation Smile, Students Against Destructive Decisions and Seeds of Service.
