At the time of his selection, the state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 6-foot-1, 175-pound senior quarterback had led the Trojans to a 13-0 record and a berth in the Class 7A state semifinals. Lewis completed 222-of-293 passes for 3,272 yards and 44 touchdowns against just four interceptions through 13 games. Ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the Class of 2025 by ESPN.com, he entered the state semifinals with 10,498 passing yards and 140 touchdowns through the air in his prep football career.
Lewis has maintained an A average in the classroom. At the time of his selection, he had made a verbal commitment to receive athletic aid to play football at the University of Colorado next fall.
Lewis has volunteered locally as part of multiple fundraising efforts for Raising Love, which benefits foster children in Georgia. He has also donated his time as a youth football coach.
