The 6-foot-8, 200-pound junior forward led the Hawks to a 17-7 record and a berth in Delaware’s state semifinals this past season. Obiora averaged 17.3 points, 12.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.7 blocks and shot 60 percent from the floor. A First Team All-Conference selection, he’s ranked as the state’s No. 2 prospect in the Class of 2026 according to Prep Hoops Delaware.
Obiora has maintained a 3.88 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
Obiora has volunteered locally as a peer tutor and through his church. He has also served as part of St. Georges Captain’s Council, which is a 12-week leadership program for student-athletes.
