“In my 29 years of coaching basketball at the high school and collegiate level, I’ve never seen a more dominant player than Jordan Horston. Her game doesn’t have a flaw. She’s able to shoot the three, mid-range and attack the basket, and she’s a very good defender with an amazing nose for the ball.”

Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-2 senior guard had led the Nubians to a 24-0 record, a No. 3 national ranking in the USA TODAY’s Super 25 and the Division III regional semifinals at the time of her selection. Horston averaged 18.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.8 steals through 24 games. The FIBA tournament MVP for the gold-medal winning USA Basketball U17 Women’s World Cup Team, she is a three-time All-State honoree and has been chosen to play in the McDonald’s All-American Game. Horston was the Division III co-Player of the Year as a junior and is ranked as the nation’s No. 2 recruit in the Class of 2019 by ESPN.

Academic Achievement

Horston has maintained a 3.31 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of Tennessee this fall.
