The 6-foot-3, 190-pound junior guard averaged 24.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game this past season, leading the Tigers (20-11) to the Division II, Class AA state semifinals. A finalist for the Division II-AA Mr. Basketball award, Sanderson was a First Team Division I All-State selection as a sophomore at Saline (Mich.) High. He’s ranked as the nation’s No. 55 recruit in the Class of 2026 by 247Sports.
Sanderson has maintained a 3.39 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
Sanderson has volunteered locally as a Bible Study leader and as a youth basketball coach.
